XCOM 2: War Of The Chosen Propaganda Center is now available for download on PC here. XCOM 2: War Of The Chosen will be out on PC as well as PS4 and Xbox One on August 29.About This Content XCOM® 2: War of the Chosen, is the expansion to the 2016 award-winning strategy game of the year. Even if you don’t plan to pick up the expansion soon, you can use your existing XCOM 2 save or create new soldiers to mess around with it. The added bonus here is access to the new photo mode. Similar to the free character pool editor for XCOM 2, the War Of The Chosen Propaganda Center will let you create new soldiers to import to the expansion. Good news is that you can try out the photo mode right now for free. Whether it’s to honour the recently deceased soldier from a previous mission gone wrong, highlighting your strongest squad lineup, or a buddy-buddy poster of two soldiers who have forged strong bonds in the battlefield– a new feature in War Of The Chosen- you can pose them to your liking and save the pictures either for use in-game or share it on social media. There’s tons of options to customise the perfect poster.
These posters will be seen inside of the Avenger, XCOM’s flying base, as well as on the ground as propaganda for the guerrilla resistance force.
In response to how players have grown attached to their soldiers despite the chance to lose them thanks to permadeath, Firaxis is adding a feature to pose your soldiers for a propaganda poster. The upcoming expansion to the strategy game XCOM 2 will add a lot of new mechanics on top of the original game, but it will also add one more feature that barely has any effect for gameplay: a photo mode.
